Opening of Michelin-starred Yongfu Restaurant in Jeju

Jeju Shinhwa World is set to open the first Korean branch of the Michelin 1-star Chinese restaurant brand, Yongfu, on May 15. Originally based in Shanghai, Yongfu specializes in Ningbo cuisine, known for seafood from China's coastal region. The restaurant has received accolades, including Michelin 1-star and Black Pearl Guide 3 Diamonds, with branches in Singapore and Hong Kong. Besides Ningbo, it will offer representative dishes from Beijing, Sichuan, and Guangdong cuisines. Chef Xikun Lei, head of Yongfu, will attend the restaurant's opening and participate in the 'Jeju Food and Wine Festival' on May 18.
