Korea Kolmar announced its development of a 'reverse aging' cosmetic technology, aimed at making skin cells younger by enhancing skin barriers and reducing inflammation. Utilizing AI, they crafted a peptide called PTPD-12, which accelerates autophagy, a self-renewing cell process. Through this innovative method, the time needed for development was reduced from over a year to three months. Clinical trials indicated improvements in skin condition among sensitive skin users. This technology promises effective skincare without irritating anti-aging ingredients like vitamin C or retinol.
