The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of South Korea is implementing measures to stabilize seafood prices as production decreases in May and June. To address this, the government will supply approximately 5,000 tons of stored seafood, including mackerel and cutlassfish, to the market until June 27th. Various discount events such as the 'Korean Seafood Festival' and the 'Onnuri Gift Certificate Cashback Event' will be held in online and physical stores to support consumers and boost seafood sales during the so-called 'off-season'.
