Cheonan City Invites Participants for 'Bread Bread Day' Pilgrimage Group

Cheonan City, located in South Korea, is set to host its annual 'Bread Bread Day' festival on June 14-15, celebrating local bakeries and their creations. The city is inviting people to join a pilgrimage group called 'Breadji', which aims to promote the region's reputation as the city of bread. Supported by the Korea Confectionery Association and Cheonan City, the event will feature 78 local bakeries showcasing various breads made with regional agricultural products. Participants will visit designated bakeries and one of Cheonan's eight scenic spots, sharing their experiences on social media. The city welcomes nationals aged 18 and above, encouraging families and friends to form teams. Discounts on bread purchases and special gifts such as milk and rice are offered during the event. Organizers aim to connect healthy bread with culture and tourism to invigorate the local economy.
