Daegu Kansong Art Museum is showcasing its first exhibition, 'Beauty of Flower and Bird Paintings', from April 30 to August 3. The exhibition features 37 works of flower and bird paintings, representing the artistic senses from the mid to late Joseon Dynasty. Notably, Gyeomjae Jeongseon's 'Hwaeomwohwacheop', painstakingly restored, is displayed for the first time. The exhibition is arranged in three sections, highlighting the evolution of Korean flower and bird paintings through different historical periods. The artworks express literary spirit, poetic emotions, and aesthetic ideals through detailed depictions of nature. The exhibition aims to offer a glimpse into the harmonious coexistence with nature that Joseon ancestors aspired to achieve. Unique elements such as the exhibition design by renowned interior designer Yang Tae-oh and audio guides recorded by actress Lim Sujeong and TV personality Mark Tetto enhance the experience. This cultural event offers a unique perspective on Korean fine arts, making it a fascinating attraction for those interested in historical and artistic heritage.
