In an effort to promote domestic travel and invigorate local economies, South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism is running a 'Spring Travel Campaign' until May. The campaign highlights quaint towns like Ganghwa Island, the fourth-largest island in Korea, which offers historical and unique experiences. Key attractions include Jeondeungsa Temple, a 1,600-year-old temple known for its signature jujube tea, Gumpoong Brewing Company known for its traditional makgeolli-making, and Cheongpung, a cultural space offering yoga and singing bowl meditation. With the campaign, the government hopes to encourage citizens to explore local treasures and rejuvenate their daily lives through travel.
