Hwaseong City Awarded 'Top Tourist City 2025' by Korean Distribution Management Society

Hwaseong City has been recognized as the 'Top Tourist City in Korea' by the Korean Distribution Management Society. The award was announced at the 2025 Spring Conference held at Sejong University, attended by over 200 experts from the distribution, logistics, and management sectors. Hwaseong's rich natural scenery and ongoing efforts to enhance its tourism infrastructure, such as the 'Moses Miracle' Jebudo experience and the 17km West Coast Golden Coastal Road, contributed to receiving this accolade. Additionally, it has recently been certified as a national geopark and has consistently featured as a Cultural and Tourism Festival by Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Mayor Jung Myung-geun highlighted Hwaseong's unique appeal as a city with diverse natural and cultural attractions.
