The 35th Ttukseom Cup (Grade 2) race is happening on May 27 at Let's Run Park in Seoul, with participation from 16 racehorses active in Seoul and Busan-Gyeongnam. The Ttukseom Cup was inaugurated in 1989 to commemorate Ttukseom racetrack, which moved to Gyeonggi-do, and has been part of the Queens Tour series that determines the best filly since 2012. Four main contenders from Seoul and Busan include Joyful Journey, Wonderful Slew, Gladiolus, and Crown Roar. Joyful Journey aims for a second consecutive win, displaying versatility in both short and mid-long distance races. Wonderful Slew, known for consistent top-five finishes, is another strong contender. Crown Roar, with fast starting ability, shows promise in short-distance races. Gladiolus recently showcased strong performance in longer races and is looking for another win. This event highlights competitive racing with top-quality female racehorses.
