The 7th Gangwon-Hongcheon San-namul Festival will take place from May 3rd to 5th, celebrating the freshness of spring mountain vegetables like myeongyi (wild garlic) and gomchwi. The festival includes over 50 booths selling various san-namul, local food like the unique 'myeongyi hotdog,' cultural performances, and family-friendly activities. Organized by the Hongcheon Culture Foundation, the event aims to promote regional produce and boost local farmers' income. Also, a special 'San-namul Train' will operate to give tourists a tour of Hongcheon.
