Pansori Performance by Park Yang-soon for Danjong Cultural Festival

Master singer Park Yang-soon is set to perform a creative pansori (a Korean musical storytelling tradition) piece titled 'The Life of Euiam Ryu In-seok' on the 26th at the Danjong Cultural Festival in Yeongwol. This performance, hosted by the Euiam Ryu In-seok Memorial Hall, will feature traditional Korean instruments such as the gayageum and the accompaniment of saxophone. Additionally, artist Lee Hyung-jae will conduct a calligraphy performance commemorating Ryu In-seok's historical appointment as a leader during challenging times. Park Yang-soon is renowned in the Korean traditional music scene and her contributions include award-winning performances and innovative adaptations of classic works.
