Veteran South Korean actors Shin Goo (89) and Park Geun-hyung (85) have planned a special charity performance of the play 'Waiting for Godot', waiving their salaries for one show, to support young theater artists. The proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the 'Theatre Tomorrow Fund', which helps fund programs for young actors. Their initiative is inspiring and aims to address the challenging conditions within the Korean theater scene. The performance, scheduled for November 13th, targets young audiences aged 19 to 34 and will include a discussion with the actors and playwright O Kyung-taek.
