Gampo Port Celebrates 100 Years with Festive Activities

Gampo Port in Gyeongju is celebrating its 100th anniversary from April 25 to 28 with various themed events. The festivities, organized by local residents, aim to honor the port's history and share future visions. Activities include sand art, drone shows, trot performances, EDM parties, and K-POP random dances. Visitors can also enjoy hands-on experiences such as water ball activities, a fresh fish catching event, and a stamp tour. The port is being developed as a key maritime leisure and tourism hub on the East Coast of Korea. Gyeongju's mayor hopes Gampo Port will symbolize the city's maritime identity.
