The Gumi Video Media Center in Korea is pioneering as a hub for citizen creativity and learning in the digital era. As the first of its kind in Gyeongbuk province, the center provides comprehensive facilities for video production, screening, and editing all in one place. It offers a wide range of equipment and spaces including 3D screening rooms and a radio studio. With an increasing focus on media education, the center hosted 21 classes last year, including collaborations with Samsung for technology-based learning. The center is also hosting independent film screenings and discussions, further cementing its role in nurturing future media talents. Gumi's mayor aims to transform the city into a hub of creativity and innovation through media education.
