E-Land Imports Cheaper Vietnamese Cabbage to Control Prices

As cabbage prices in Korea rise above 6000 KRW due to a 50% increase over the year, E-Land Retail is set to sell Vietnamese cabbage for 2590 KRW per head starting March 24. This marks the first official sale of directly imported Vietnamese cabbage, sourced from Hanoi's highlands, known for its favorable growing conditions similar to Korea's but less affected by climate change. E-Land previously stabilized prices with direct-sourcing strategies for other produce like strawberries and mandarins and plans to expand these efforts to other items like carrots. This initiative aims to offer solutions to recurring agricultural supply issues and maintain stable consumer prices.
