Cosmax Strengthens Female Leadership with 51.6% Women Managers

Cosmax, a global cosmetics ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) company, is intensifying its efforts to foster female talent. On October 21st, Cosmax announced its formal declaration of support and joining of the UN Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs), an initiative aimed at promoting gender equality and providing guidance for companies. As of last year, women make up about 48.2% of Cosmax's workforce, with 51.6% of managers being women. Cosmax has implemented systems like mentoring programs and supportive measures such as child-rearing incentives and paid leave to retain top female talent. Cosmax CEO Choi Kyung highlighted the commitment to diversity and inclusion, and hopes to expand female talent acquisition and development, as well as broaden environmentally and socially responsible practices.
