The 22nd Pyeongchang Daegwallyeong Music Festival will take place from July 23 to August 2, featuring performances that explore the theme of 'InterHarmony: Sharing Conciliation Across Borders'. The festival is led by Artistic Director Yang Sung-won and promises a blend of familiar and unfamiliar classical music from global musicians. The opening concert will include Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra led by conductor Jonathan Stockhammer performing Mahler's Symphony No. 2 'Resurrection'. Notable works from Takemitsu, Bartók, Ravel, Mozart, Schubert, and Debussy are scheduled. International performers such as violinists Akiko Suwanai and Guillaume Sutre will join domestic artists like violinist Jiyoon Park. The closing concert will focus on 'Music Harmonizing with the World', featuring pieces by Brahms and Dvořák.
