The Korean-Japanese collaborative musical 'Dream High' will make its debut in April. Originally a successful Korean creative musical, it was licensed for performance in Japan last year, showcasing the potential for the globalization of 'K-dance musicals.' The musical aims to contribute to the global reach of K-content with its stunning K-pop and K-performance elements. Broadcaster Park Kyung-lim will join the project as the creative director, offering fresh and meaningful contributions. The lead roles, originally played by Kim Soo-hyun in the drama, will be simultaneously performed by actors in both countries, reflecting the cultural synergy between Korea and Japan. The musical will feature prominent artists like SE7EN, JinJin of ASTRO, and members of GOT7 and INFINITE. Its OST, involving contributions from superstars such as IU and Wonder Girls' Sunye, supports youth in preparing for independence with proceeds from music sales. 'Dream High' performances are scheduled in Korea and Japan from April 11 to 27.
