Grand Opening of Sinjeongho Garden in Asan, Chungnam

The Sinjeongho Garden in Asan, newly registered as Chungnam's first local designated garden, officially opened following its inauguration ceremony on the 18th. The garden, which started its land acquisition in 2021, completed construction by late 2022 and was registered as the first local garden in Chungnam in January this year. Spread over 24.8 hectares, it features eight themed gardens such as the Lotus Garden and Four Seasons Garden. With diverse flora including 102 tree species and 137 flower species, visitors can enjoy vibrant views throughout the year. The garden also includes attractions like water features and ecological ponds. The mayor of Asan plans to enhance tourism and boost the local economy by developing additional attractions like a kids' garden and night scenery activities.
