Jeju Hydrangea Extracts Innovate Whitening Cosmetics

Jeju Technopark (JejuTP) has licensed a patent for a skin-whitening composition using extracts from Jeju's native rock hydrangea to a cosmetics company. This plant, found in regions like Jeju's Hallasan mountain, is known for its potent skin-whitening properties. The patent has been transferred to Enstar, a company with international partnerships, which plans to develop new cosmetic products using this technology. JejuTP will receive financial remuneration based on sales over the next three years.
