Shinsegae Gallery Cheongdam, located in the basement of Boon the Shop (a luxury department store), is hosting an exhibition of Korean visual art by renowned typographer An Sang-su. Known for creating the 'An Sang-su Style', he extends typography into the realm of art. The exhibition, running until June 21, is inspired by modern Korean literature, especially by experimental poet Lee Sang. It features notable pieces like 'Pattern (2025)' and 'Hangeul Goblin (2025)', blending traditional Korean elements with modern design. Visitors can enjoy over 70 pieces, from paintings to media installations, along with art goods like t-shirts and book covers. Shinsegae Gallery aims to cater to local and international visitors interested in Korean culture and lifestyle.
