In September, the 5th Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism will feature a large eco-friendly sculpture measuring 90m in width and 16m in height at the Songhyeon Green Plaza. This event, themed 'Radically More Human,' showcases works by Thomas Heatherwick, known as the Leonardo da Vinci of the UK. The Dongkuk Steel Group has signed an agreement with the Seoul city government to provide its premium eco-friendly building materials, 'Luxteel,' for the sculpture. Using innovative digital printing technology, directors Kim Ho-min and Hong Seok-kyu will create a seamless structure that aligns with the event's theme. Seoul hopes this exhibition will spark public interest in urban architecture and future vision.
