During Korea's Lunar New Year holiday, a variety of traditional performances will be held for those interested in experiencing the cultural heritage of Joseon Dynasty's festivities. The National Gugak Center will host 'Mansa Daegil', offering a recreation of the royal and common celebrations of the Joseon era through traditional music and dance. Highlights include grand court performances featuring 'Gugak', 'Daechwita' music, and 'Jongmyo Jeryeak'. The National Dance Company will present '2025 Festival', themed around 'Festivals for the King', showcasing seven works. Moreover, the National Theater will feature 'Madangnori Modumjeon', a compilation of Korean folk plays designed for family audiences. Additionally, renowned musicals like 'The Man Who Laughs' and 'Jekyll & Hyde' are also available for viewing, except on Monday, January 27th. Discounts are offered to those born in the Year of the Snake and attendees wearing Hanbok (Korean traditional clothing).
