Scheduled for April 22 to May 4, the Seoul Spring Chamber Music Festival (SSF) marks its 20th edition with 14 performances. SSF has played a significant role in developing chamber music in Korea, aided by key figures like Artistic Director Kang Dong-suk, violist Kim Sang-jin, and pianist Kim Yeong-ho, who have participated since its inception. Initially rooted in the 'Music Alp Festival in Seoul,' SSF has grown with support from music lovers and Seoul city. This year’s theme, '20 Candles,' celebrates its milestone, featuring unique programs focused on the number 20. SSF has nurtured many young talents, showcasing chamber music's profound inner expression.
