Highlighting its benefits on gut health and immunity, the research was discussed at the 'Korea-New Zealand Nutritional Research Exchange Seminar' organized by Zespri at their headquarters in Tauranga, New Zealand. Professor Jung Hee-won emphasized the importance of consuming fruits like kiwifruit for better dietary habits, as they are rich in dietary fiber and essential nutrients. Additionally, experts noted the significant impact of daily fruit and vegetable intake on health, stressing the importance of choosing nutrient-dense foods. The seminar reiterated the need for consumer education and campaigns to promote these nutritional choices.
