Clarinetist Jo Seong-ho to Perform at 'Matinee 2025' in Chuncheon

The 'Matinee 2025' opens soon in Chuncheon, Korea, featuring a midday performance aimed at providing a delightful musical escape. On November 16, the Chuncheon Cultural Foundation will host its first concert titled 'The Exciting Waiting at Noon' at Chuncheon Culture & Arts Center. The inaugural performer is clarinetist Jo Seong-ho, a professor at Kangwon National University, recognized for his tenure as principal clarinetist with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra for seven years. Jo will present works by Astor Piazzolla, an Argentine composer renowned for blending tango and jazz. This concert will build upon repertoire he showcased in December at the Seoul Arts Center, offering an intimate performance style with narrative support. The 'Matinee 2025' will return in June, September, and October for additional shows for local citizens.
