Indonesian art group Tromarama is holding their first solo exhibition in South Korea at SongEun Art and Cultural Foundation in Cheongdam, Seoul. The exhibition explores the influence of digital media on daily life, highlighting the often overlooked labor that powers these platforms. Installations utilize algorithms to critique how social media consumption becomes a source of profit for companies. The exhibit, featuring automated instruments and performers reacting to social media hashtags, critiques the notion of pleasure derived from digital labor. It's on view until May 24 and admission is free.
