Tourists Flock to Gangwon Despite Harsh Weather Conditions

Despite harsh weather conditions with snow and rain, tourists flocked to major attractions in Gangwon Province over the weekend, including cable cars and national parks. More than 8,500 visitors entered the Salt Mountain Grand Valley (Gan-hyeon Tourist Area), and Seoraksan National Park saw around 7,800 visitors. Gangneung's Ojukheon also hosted about 6,100 visitors. Tourists enjoyed activities despite the weather, wearing raincoats or carrying umbrellas. The staff ensured safety by monitoring various attractions closely.
