Gochang Wellpark City Selected as a Leading Wellness Tourist Spot in Korea

Gochang Wellpark City in Jeollabuk-do has been newly selected as a leading wellness tourist destination for 2025 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Korea. This addition brings the total number of wellness tourist spots in the province to six, including Gui Andeok Village in Wanju and Hong Sam Spa in Jinan. Gochang Wellpark City offers various healing programs themed around beauty and spa, including yoga, aquarobics, and holon therapy, notable for the use of germanium-rich hot spring water. The Ministry will provide support in marketing and event participation to promote these wellness destinations internationally. With increasing demand for wellness tourism, Jeollabuk-do aims to focus administrative efforts on nurturing these destinations as wellness tourism hubs.
