Hansik Promotion Agency to Offer Korean Cuisine Education Program for Jongno Residents

The Hansik Promotion Agency announced a collaboration with Jongno District to provide lifelong learning programs focused on Korean cuisine. Designated as a lifelong learning center, they will offer lectures and hands-on activities in Gahee-dong, Jongno. The program aims to deepen residents' understanding of Hansik (traditional Korean food) and will include cultural and historical insights into Korean dishes. Several thematic programs are planned: exploring Korean cuisine through traditional paintings, tasting and learning about the origins of Hansik, and understanding the global spread of K-Food. These will be held at the Hansik Library's 'I-eum Hall'. While the primary participants will be Jongno residents, others can join if spaces are available.
