South Korean theater company Hatangse is performing the play 'The Man Who Paints Time' at the Gangbuk Cultural Arts Center in Seoul on November 11th and 12th. The play revisits the memories of the 1980 Gwangju Uprising, a pivotal moment in South Korean history marked by student and civilian protests against the military government. It explores protagonist Mr. Moon's fragmented memories, particularly his daughter's involvement in the movement, as brought to life through paper and apple props. The performance has been recognized at the National Asian Cultural Complex as a repertoire play and will be featured at international festivals, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August and Tokyo's BESETO Theater Festival in September.
