Moon Byeong-nam, a prominent figure in Korean creative ballet, passed away at the age of 63. He graduated from Chosun University's Department of Dance in 1984 and was a principal dancer at the Korea National Ballet for ten years, contributing to the golden era of Korean ballet. As a deputy artistic director, he revived choreographies such as 'Prince Hodong' and 'Don Quixote'. In 2015, he founded M Ballet Company, consistently showcasing original performances like the famous 'An Jung-geun, Dance in Heaven', inspired by the life and philosophy of Korean independence activist An Jung-geun. His funeral will be held at Seoul Chungang University Hospital.
