Clavel, a company led by Jeon Yeh-jun, aims to innovate by collaborating with skilled Korean artisans who have been left behind in the online market. Their first project, "Eel and Onggi Gift Set," features high-grade eel farmed traditionally over two generations, handmade pottery by a 30-year experienced artisan, sun-dried salt from a family-run salt farm, a natural-bristle brush inspired by an eel dish master, and luxurious wrapping crafted by a 40-year-old bojagi (Korean traditional wrapping cloth) expert. The sets focus on reusability and showcase craftsmanship, elevating the gifting experience. Clavel plans to continue creating unique products with artisans from various fields.
