Closure of Insa Art Space after 25 Years

Insa Art Space (in Korean: 인미공), a government-sponsored venue for emerging artists in Seoul, will cease operations in June after 25 years. Known for supporting avant-garde projects and young artists, the space faced challenges such as rising rent and regional development pressures. To commemorate its legacy, the Arko Art Center will host exhibitions and programs reflecting on its cultural contributions. The final exhibition at Insa Art Space will be held from May 29 to June 1. The closure highlights shifting dynamics within Korea's art scene.
