Recently, the Geoje Island's scenic Rainbow Trail has been highlighted, offering a spectacular 12.5 km hike through its 3 to 5 sections, taking around 4 hours. This trail features beautiful coastal views, including sights of Byungdae and Maemul Islands. The hike is both challenging and rewarding with places like the Namparang Road, famous challenging sections, and various natural landmarks such as Gomsoll (Pine) forests. After recent forest fires affected the region, the decision to feature this seaside trail was made, providing a refreshing escape from the environmental stress. Visitors can enjoy stunning viewpoints and seaside villages along the way, with transportation options including local buses to various trail points. Although navigation can be tricky with hidden markers, the trail rewards hikers with serene views and cultural experiences at its end points.
