From Monet to Andy Warhol: An Art Exhibition at Sejong Center

An exhibition featuring works by iconic Western artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol will open at the Sejong Center in Seoul on June 16. With 143 pieces from the Johannesburg Art Gallery in South Africa, the event is curated by Italian art historian Simona Bartolena. It covers 400 years of art history from the 17th century Dutch Golden Age to 20th-century modern art in nine thematic sections, and includes unique pieces highlighting the intersection of South African and European art. The exhibit runs through August, with additional attractions like star docent-led audio guides and children's art education programs. Admission is paid.
