The National Theater Company of Korea, established in 1950, has returned to its original location at the National Theater in Namsan, Seoul. This move comes 15 years after it became an independent corporation and left the National Theater. The relocation was prompted by the theater community's request and the redevelopment of its prior location. The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Yu In-Chon, emphasized the importance of maintaining the spirit and values of analog theater in the digital age and mentioned plans to establish regional branches to address cultural disparity.
