Known for cooking ramen and making coffee efficiently with robot arms, these stops offer a unique experience for travelers. There are a total of eight service areas featuring robot chefs, and 80 with robot baristas, across major highways like the Gyeongbu and Yeongdong Expressways.
Newly opened and architecturally unique, the Sejong-Pocheon Expressway Cheoin Service Area features convenient facilities such as virtual reality game zones. Additionally, many acclaimed 'century-old' restaurants (baeknyeon-gage: recognized long-standing small businesses) serve dishes at these stops, contributing to their reputation as gourmet destinations.
