Woowa Brothers, the company behind Baemin (a popular food delivery service in Korea), announced it is fulfilling a social investment commitment of 200 billion KRW made last year. The investment includes supporting small businesses with guarantee loans, offering consulting and education through Baemin Academy, and expanding marketing channels for traditional markets. With collaborations with KakaoBank and regional credit guarantee foundations, Baemin has supported around 2,600 small business owners with financial aid. The initiative will expand nationwide this year. They also organized educational programs and events like Baemin Music Concerts for business owners to enhance competitiveness. Baemin plans to expand the Riders School in Gyeonggi Province to improve delivery conditions and launched a Rider Safety Management Committee to advance safety systems. Furthermore, eco-friendly efforts include expanding reusable container services to several regions. The CEO of Woowa Brothers emphasized their commitment to sustainable growth and building a supportive delivery ecosystem.
