Who Earned the Highest Salary Among South Korean Business Leaders Last Year?

Cho Hyun-sang, the Vice Chairman of HS Hyosung, received the highest compensation among major South Korean business leaders last year, totaling approximately 32.38 billion won, including retirement and special achievement bonuses. Excluding these bonuses, Shin Dong-bin, Chairman of Lotte Group, took the lead with an annual salary of about 21.65 billion won from seven affiliate companies. Other notable executives include Lee Jay-hyun of CJ Group and Kim Seung-youn of Hanwha Group, among others.
