Gangneung Symphony Orchestra, led by conductor Jeong Min, performed Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 at Seoul Arts Center's Symphony Festival. This festival, a critical stage for regional Korean orchestras, offers exposure to serious classical music enthusiasts. Despite some expectations not fully met, the orchestra's performance filled nearly 2300 seats and received strong applause. The festival highlights regional orchestras and provides growth opportunities, with Gangneung Symphony being the sole participant from Gangwon Province this year.
