Starting August 18, the Yanggu City Tour in Gangwon Province invites tourists to explore attractions near the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), a buffer area between North and South Korea, with guided tours. Operating on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays until November 30, these tours depart from Chuncheon Station for a same-day return journey, covering different routes such as the Bangsan outing course and DMZ trekking course. Tour prices are affordable, but participants cover their individual costs for attractions and meals. Discounts are available for some attractions. Reservations can be made online or on-site at Chuncheon Station. Plans also include expanding to Seoul and Gyeonggi region tourists. This tour is among efforts to highlight Yanggu's unique charms.
