Wedding Road Event Attracts Couples to Hadong's Cherry Blossom Path

The 'Wedding Road' event at Hadong's famous cherry blossom path in South Korea drew couples from all over the country for free wedding photos. Known as a 'marriage holy site', walking the path is believed to bring luck for a long-lasting marriage. Despite a recent regional wildfire, the romantic and picturesque event continued, bringing together future brides and grooms aiming to capture special memories among the 1200 cherry trees lining the path. The cherry blossom path, long recognized for its enchanting atmosphere, perfectly complements the love stories of visitors. Originally established in the 1930s, the path includes a 25km stretch decorated with cherry blossoms. Although this year's flower festival was canceled, plans for a future festival promise cultural foods and picnic zones, enhancing the idyllic natural setting.
