The BGN Gallery in Seoul is hosting a solo exhibition titled 'Transient Landscapes' by artist Bae Byung-kyu until the 29th of this month. The exhibition features Bae's latest works from the past three years along with new pieces created this year. Raised in Cheorwon (a county in South Korea), Bae captures the landscapes from his childhood and combines them with present-day scenes. His art is characterized by vibrant colors and solid lines, portraying simple yet comforting landscapes. Bae's works capture fleeting moments of light, air, and movement in nature, aiming to evoke emotions of joy, sadness, solitude, and tranquility. The exhibition is free to visit without prior reservation, except on Sundays when the gallery is closed.
