South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism hosted a forum on April 4 to discuss the development of new industrial tourism by 2025. The event gathered 100 participants from local governments, academia, and industries to consider the creation and promotion of tourism products linked with Korea's key industries like semiconductors, automobiles, IT, K-food, and K-beauty. These efforts aim to attract foreign visitors by offering immersive experiences in that include factory tours and cultural activities. The forum also highlighted the potential of industrial tourism to expand globally, leveraging Korea's strong cultural influence (known as K-culture).
