Actor Lee Kwang-gi Advocates Korean Art Globalization at "Beyond the Sensory Arts" Exhibition

On April 4th, at Gallery Kki in Paju, Korea, a press conference for the "Beyond the Sensory Arts" exhibition featuring artists Yoon Myung-ro, Jeong Hyun, and Woo Jong-taek was held. Led by actor and gallery director Lee Kwang-gi, the exhibition explores the essence of humanity through diverse artistic expressions and aims to promote Korean art on a global stage. The exhibition showcases 48 pieces, including paintings, drawings, and sculptures. Each artist presents distinctive works reflecting their unique artistic perspectives, such as modern reinterpretations of traditional Korean aesthetics and explorations of human resilience and vitality through various media. Special events, including seminars with art critics and collaborative dining experiences with chefs, are scheduled during the exhibition, which runs until June 28th. Lee emphasized the exhibition's role in questioning the direction of art and fostering Korean art's global influence.
