Major Korean Landmarks to Close Amid Large Protests on Presidential Impeachment Decision Day

On the verdict day of President Yoon Suk-yeol's impeachment, major landmarks around the Constitutional Court in Seoul, such as palaces, museums, and galleries, will temporarily close to ensure public safety due to expected protests. Tourists and citizens won't be able to visit places like Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, and Deoksugung throughout the day, with night tours at Changgyeonggung also being canceled. Museums and galleries nearby will similarly close, including the National Museum of Korean Folk Culture and National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul.
