Ice Fishing in Hwacheon

On January 25th, the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday in South Korea, a visitor was seen ice fishing at the Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival located in the Hwacheon Stream in Hwacheon County, Gangwon Province. The festival is a popular winter event where participants catch mountain trout (sancheoneo) through holes cut in the ice.
