Hanwha Vice President Kim Dong-sun Engages with Global Talent in Seoul

Kim Dong-sun, Vice President of Hanwha Hotels & Resorts and third son of Hanwha Group Chairman Kim Seung-youn, met with Stanford MBA students in Seoul to discuss Hanwha's key businesses, strategies in distribution and services, and topics like sustainable society and corporate innovation. The event was part of Stanford's Global Study Trip. As students from different parts of the world attended, questions about Hanwha's achievements in defense, finance, and technology were raised, including interest in Five Guys' market adaptation in Korea. Kim emphasized the importance of investing in quality ingredients while enhancing efficiency through food tech and acknowledged the need for continuous learning. Success stories of Hanwha Vision and Hanwha Semantic, especially in the U.S. security market and high-bandwidth memory (HBM) technology, including new collaborations with NVIDIA, were highlighted.
