Eland Eats, a South Korean dining company known for buffet brands like Ashley Queens and Nature Kitchen, reported a significant financial performance improvement despite industry challenges. Last year, the company achieved annual sales of 470.5 billion KRW with an operating profit of 32 billion KRW, marking an 80.8% increase from the previous year. Analysts attribute this growth to the rising preference for buffets offering a variety of dishes at reasonable prices amid rising dining costs. The strategic placement of stores in high-accessibility areas such as new cities and large shopping complexes also contributed to higher efficiency.
