Next Generation Korean Traditional Singers Performance

The National Folk Music Center in Namwon, South Korea, will host a performance featuring young traditional singers, also known as sori-kun, on November 7th and 8th. The event showcases nine talented elementary, middle, and high school students selected through a competition. This initiative aims to preserve and promote the traditional Korean vocal art of pansori (a genre of musical storytelling). Reservations can be made on the center's website. Attendees are encouraged to admire the next generation of Korean cultural talent.
